TinyURL even generates a 'preview' link that's a  &lt;br&gt;bit longer than usual, but let's you view the content without properly  &lt;br&gt;clicking it. This was likely out of response to the spammers who enjoy  &lt;br&gt;'Rick Rolling' people.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But when you consider where you come across TinyURLs, its generally  &lt;br&gt;from people you trust or consent to (i.e. through Twitter) - so I'm  &lt;br&gt;fairly sure its still just as regulated :-)&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">CannonGod</dc:creator><pubDate>Sun, 22 Jun 2008 20:15:04 -0000</pubDate></item><item><title>Re: Multi-Tab URL Shortening</title><link>http://cannongod.tumblr.com/post/39405711#comment-725688</link><description>&lt;p&gt;An interesting idea, but from a spammer's perspective isn't that like multiple pop-ups? I know I'll sound a bit Nielsen here, but making multiple links does at least put the option with the user.
