Just testing out the commenting system for Tumblr using Disqus.

I tried using Intense Debate, but while I enjoyed the layout and Reputation system from ID, I think the ability to record Seesmic and FriendFeed comments directly to my blog sounds much better right now.

I've messaged the creators of Intense Debate about this, and have yet to get a response - although the general consensus is that it's on its way.

Testing a written reply to a video to see where it gets picked up by (i.e. FriendFeed).

A nice feature of using a blog to leave video comments as opposed to Seesmic is that users can rate my video response using the Diqus framework. Neat.

Big problem though is that despite Disqus integrating with Seesmic on the blog front, when you go to your account page at Disqus.com to see all your posts, the videos don't embed. All you get is simply a link reply to a post made with no content - so you have to visit the blog to see the embedded video comment.

Hopefully this'll be something they can fix in the near future :-)

I made a few comments to the videos I posted through FriendFeed. Now while it took a bit of time for the videos to show up there (probably about 15minutes, but feels longer when you're waiting on it) maybe it will take some time for those comments to reach my blog.

    Fingers crossed x^_^x
